Lampconcept is a Swedish premium lighting brand that creates handcrafted, nature-inspired lighting fixtures. When they decided to launch their direct-to-consumer Shopify store, they needed a development partner who could translate their artisanal brand identity into a compelling digital shopping experience. Mgroup delivered a complete custom Shopify theme that captures the warmth and craftsmanship of Lampconcept’s products while providing a seamless purchasing journey. Translating Lampconcept craftsmanship into digital experience
Lampconcept’s products are premium, handcrafted items that require careful visual presentation online. The main challenge was creating a Shopify store that could communicate the quality and craftsmanship of their lighting fixtures through a screen — from the natural materials used to the ambient glow each piece creates. The brand also needed a flexible product configuration system, as many of their fixtures come in multiple sizes, cord lengths, and material variations.
